The Creative Spirit
When we talk about creativity, most people believe they are not creative at all. Or, they believe that creativity equals art and that art is painting, drawing, sculpting etc.
Truly, we all have a Creative Spirit and this comes in many forms, as many forms as there are different people. Imagine if Einstein had not believed in creativity, or Michelangelo, Helen Keller even. Everything that these great people and others before and after them contributed to our lives was part of their Creative Spirit.
To get in touch with Your Creative Spirit, spend some quiet alone time. Perhaps you like to meditate, garden or walk on the beach. The most important thing is to let your mind go free of worry, free of what needs to be done, what didn’t get done or what you feel you have to do. If we don’t give our mind the respite it needs to rejuvenate itself and clear the cob webs we won’t be able to tap into the creative parts of ourselves.
